「JOJO」は、明治から続く京都の老舗履物匠、祇園 ない藤の履物ブランドです。そのJOJOに、NIBE LEATHER® のブラックを提供しました。
素材を提供することが、そのままデザインでした。革が決まれば、形も、履き心地も、経年変化のしかたも決まる。図面を引かなくても、素材が答えを持っています。
JOJO is the footwear brand of Gion Naito, a Kyoto footwear maker in business since the Meiji era. We supplied NIBE LEATHER® in black to JOJO.
Supplying the material was itself the design. Once the leather is decided, the shape, the feel underfoot and the way it ages are decided with it. Without drawing anything, the material already holds the answer.
