靴には左右がある。その前提を、一度外してみました。
左右対称のボリュームのある木型を製作し、驚きのある新しいスタイルをつくった一足です。靴の固定概念を崩しながら、これまでにないボリュームを生み出しました。
DOVER STREET MARKET GINZA のオープンに際し、そのコンセプトである「カオス」の一部として機能しました。
Shoes have a left and a right. For once, I set that premise aside.
A symmetrical last with real volume was made, and from it a shoe with a new and surprising stance. Breaking the fixed idea of what a shoe is, it produced a volume that had not been seen before.
It functioned as part of “chaos”, the concept of DOVER STREET MARKET GINZA, at the store’s opening.
